Moving on

the story so far.

As life has been so hectic and I am often a long way from my computer and even further from a way to connect to the internet, I have been using Facebook (as Sheila Too) and my mobile phone a lot more. Thank you the few of you that keep looking at this blog and as soon as my feet touch stable ground again, I will do more here. But for now, I sort of live in my car, sleeping either at my place or Mikes and then shooting off to either Heulwen or my parents house which is still a major headache and a long job to clean up all the debris.
Its been odd to think that we bought Heulwen 6 months ago and how things have changed.. including Mum's passing on.
I keep posting more pictures of Heulwen to my flickr site Heulwen pix , but its sort of getting too full to be anything other than boring and just a record of events for me.
I posted a few pix of our trip to the Grund and Zweibrucken but never even wrote a thing, but the trip wasn't long enough to sit and relax, just 6 nights..
Soon I will be hopping across UK to Spalding again, but since I had the phone disconnected there and stopped the broadband, you will be unlikely to get a blog when I am there. And I will probably only have a couple of days there.
All the time I can feel plaster crap in my hair, my skin has been dried by the dust and my hair is a mess. I wore a skirt yesterday for the second time in 4yrs and no one noticed so I must look a friggin mess. But what the hell!..
We have no idea when Heulwen will be finished, but even the word finished seem to mean different things to Mike and I. He doesn't include curtains, carpets and furniture in the statement, but I do, so it could be another six months or so...
And then we start the renovations again, on my late parents house...

  • Staring at my own dining space and table... awash in the contents of half, my kitchen cabinets - I still have no bloody idea how you are managing "all of it"!! and yet I giggle and remember walking near the lighthouse there - hoping I will one year return again, for Guinness and laughs.

My new cabinets start installing tomorrow - and I'm moving forward meeting new people here. Fine. Sending love, Chance

  • And I too shall visit Anglesey again, for I too have sampled the Guinness and fine company of the locale.

    Big hug for Sheila,
