What a difference a year doesn't make
I am about to attach some rather boring pictures of our wild and dilapidated garden. Nothing spectacular or even a good choice of subject...
So why am I doing it?
Because the first one was taken in 2009, on the 21st March, and the second one was almost exactly a year later on the 22nd March 2010, after the harshest winter we have known for years.

Some of the undergrowth was removed a few months ago, but this shows that there hasn't been a lot of difference in the plant growth. The daffodils may have smaller leaves, but the crocus have finished and the snowdrops are also over in both pictures. But we had very little snow here...

Yes, the swing survived. Maybe cos my bum was too bloody big to sit on it. This it didn't have to suffer the strain of my weight.
