Tonight's the Night!

Tonight is THE night, the biggest darts match of the year. The George and Dragon are playing the return, home match, against The Bold Arms A team. They are not selling tickets but seats will be hard to find for this momentous occasion. The previous match was a cliff-hanging, nail biting event. So we are in for a fight to the bitter pointy end bits of the darts.

While the world is ripped apart with earthquakes and tsunamis, while war is escalating in Northern Africa. Anglesey has its biggest conflict over a round board with numbers on it, and a fight over who gets the best sandwiches afterwards.
The G & D didn't expect to win the previous match, as they were a new team, but someone up there gave them a push and the unexpected happened. The disappointment in the opposition was felt for sometime, as our joiner had to go off sick the next day. Was it defeat, as he plays for The Bold Arms A team? Or was it the beer?
So its a BIG Match... one pub on one side of the road... the other one facing it...
(I hope this bloody cold and paracetamol hits the spot, otherwise I might miss the event)

When we arrived at the pub, we were greeted with the sign from the otherside of the road, outside The Bold Arms :-

Inside The G & D was this warning sign... the battle was on...

The tension rose.. tempers became fraught.. the beer flowed...the match began...
To cut a long story short, The Bold A team were victorious, so we spent the rest of the evening crying into our beers.
Anyone seen a joiner today?
