Thundersprint, Ty Croes, Anglesey Circuit
Today we faced the elements and went to Thundersprint, a motorbiking festival, with races, exhibits, stalls and stands. This was a new even for me, and it was new to Anglesey, but an event that had been going for a long time at a different venue.
The day dawned with a light drizzle that progressed into a torrential downpour. Not much fun when you are on the back end of a motorbike... We arrived and it was raining so hard that I kept my crash helmet on for what seemed like hours, until I succumbed to a hot coffee and realised that I needed a mouth to drink coffee.
I was about to give up... soaked through my bike jacket, gloves ringing wet, feet weighed down with the water, and Mike said "I think it might be getting a little bit brighter".
So I hoped...
Then, within a few minutes, the sky went blue...
The puddles started to dry...

It began to be fun, we watched bikes going round the circuit... we even spotted a couple of old bikers... Sammy Miller and Jim Redman I managed a couple of back view photos of them... ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQXOIyTyuJG1plu7LsZfRTD6ul5zMrnxCzTKOHFtrT0mhU_2222fUDkea2d_iawHp2iAlRCVtFxPFUKmVuEUvB9dYDp76QFwEeT8-IAW1WB-BubLhLf4bb6fnT_W46hWtlkQnD/s320/IMGP0013.JPG)
Which only goes to show that I can only take photos of things that don't move.
