St. Patrick's day should be on the 17th March, but this year it has started well before that. I don't know if this is a cross between 'amser Cymraeg' and the Irish logic, but I am told that a Saturday is a better night to celebrate on, and that then it can last several days... and it maybe to avoid all this happening quite so close to Easter. I am not sure.
So here I was... an English person, in Wales... celebrating an Irish festival...Is that global enough?

So Wales won the Grand Slam, the Triple Crown, and even beat the English! Pah! All that with odd shaped balls... Rugby, seems a very good idea for a piss up.

This person has the habit of falling asleep while standing upright. I have taken many pix of him, but this is the first I have blogged... So, while the disco played, the pub got louder, Daffydd No. 4 took a quick 3/4hr sleep.. standing.. scaring the hell out of me with those whites of his eyes. He never even woke up when the felt tip pen was applied. What a way to celebrate a victory on a Saturday night! I was sitting next to Daffydd, but I felt it was safer to move, as my Guinness might have been knocked over, if ever he had obeyed the laws of gravity.

This is Neil, he thinks up questions for the pub quizzes and also did the disco for the St. Paddy's day piss up. He has a dubious nickname of 'the sock' which he is illustrating in the above photo.
