Gezellig in 's Hertogenbosch

I have been very slowly putting the pix from my phone onto my blog. Since the George and Dragon have got WiFi, this has been my easiest option, and sort of misses out the middleman of the computer. But I really can't type, unless I have a computer keyboard.

There is so much hope for the future, when chat can bring so many people together, and you can sit in a foreign country with someone who is almost 85 and drink and smoke a joint together.
I had also met Dew and Mrs Dew on 4 previous occasions. One was also in Holland, and I have proof.

After we had all said good bye, gradually over a few days. Mike and I had even shot off to Antwerp, returned and had a final drink with Jaffa, Steve, Andre, Carly, Tom. Sad, but it was over. I never expected to meet that plumber guy across the other side of the station, in Den Bosch, the next morning. Especially as we were heading off to different airports.

John did it!!

The stories so far...

John has managed to complete his marathon and only suffered a few aches in his legs for a couple of days. He is now home and has phoned his mum today. I don't know how long it took him, but its an hell of an effort!.. Well done.

We are on our travels and I might be blogging from my phone, in other words pictures only and very little in the way of words. So watch this space for pictures..
Gary, if you read this, we never made it to the Waddy air show, we couldn't face the weather and the clouds were very thick and dense. We have also since heard(on local TV news) that the Vulcan never flew, they had mechanical problems.
The weather has been dreadful here.. rain sun rainbows and thunder, all rapidly changing for days..

I went shopping and nearly bought a MacBook Pro today. It won't be long, and I will be getting something better than my sturdy old G3 iBook. But I do think Macs are over-priced just now. But isn't everything?
